1.Introduction to Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR)

2.LSR Manufacturing Process
LSR is typically produced using a two-part (A+B) platinum-cured addition system. The production involves the following steps:
1. Raw Material Preparation

Part A: Contains vinyl-terminated silicone oil, platinum catalyst, and reinforcing fillers (e.g., fumed silica).

Part B: Contains hydrogen-functional silicone (crosslinker), inhibitors, and pigments (if colored).
2. Mixing & Degassing

Parts A and B are mixed in a 1:1 ratio (varies by formulation).

The mixture is vacuum degassed to remove air bubbles for uniform consistency.
3. Injection Molding (LSR Molding)

The mixed LSR is injected into a heated mold (120-200°C) using a low-pressure injection molding machine.

4. Post-Curing (Optional)
